Every journey starts some where right? Well this ones just about to begin. My wife and I have decided to sell most everything we have, move from Michigan to Tennessee and go back to school. This sound easy when you say it..ha ha. Its been a challenge! God has seen to it that we have been blessed with an outstanding group of friends and family to help us along. So this is it, Aug 1st and we are moving on the 5Th.

One small step for God one giant leep for the Taylors.

Hey Kelly & Wendy!

I will miss you both. However, I'm excited that you have heard your calling so clearly and are following His plan.

Kelly, I felt some time ago you had the gift of ministry. You will bless many people on your journey. You have been a blessing to me, and a great friend.

Keep in touch,

John

Kelly and Wendy,
This is simply awesome!!! Your Journey began many years ago when you were just a sparkle in Gods eye. I am in SHOCK...this is the 1st i heard of it....and yet have a real peace within me, :)a smile on my face, and a reassurance that YEP that's God for YA!!! Taking the ordinary, selfish, material driven (all your cars totally tricked out) individuals living life on their own terms with lots of deep wounds, anger, abuse, addictions attempting to fill this hole with anything but JESUS!!!! Until the day HE reached out and said these two are chosen to do Great Works in MY TIME... God chose to keep you here on earth the day your heart stopped, with your bride next to your side in prayer with a peace beyond understanding...only to enlarge both of your HEARTS for HIS KINGDOM. Kelly and Wendy i am so proud of your decisions to follow Christ at all costs and am being led to financially support you monthly. Your unconditional love, wisdom and grace for me during our short season of life together truly reflected Christ beyond words....Thank you from every fiber of my body and soul..

For His Glory,

Pat

Today's Prayer
August 2, 2007
Dear God, Thank you for a new day. I know that everything I am and everything I have is a result of what You have allowed in my life. Sometimes life is very hard; other times it is full of happiness. I know you are always there and Your blessing is available...if only I will listen and obey. Please help me to recognize the gifts You send and the doors You open each and every day. Give me wisdom to see and do Your will. Thank you for the spiritual gifts You have given, also. I pray that You will use those gifts to work in and through me to minister to the world and draw people to You. In Jesus' name I pray and give You praise. Amen.

The Door of Full Surrender
TGIF Today God Is First, by Os Hillman

But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold. - Job 23:10

I was recently sitting with the leader of a workplace organization as he described a question he poses to workplace believers. "What if there were two doors to choose from; behind one door was the complete will of God for your life and behind the other door was how life could be according to your own preference. Which door would you choose?" The struggle for most lies in the desire to follow God completely and the fear of what might be behind the door of full surrender. Most of us desire to follow God, but few of us will do it at any cost. We do not really believe that God loves us to the degree that we are willing to give Him complete permission to do as He wills in us.

If we desire to fully walk with Christ, there is a cost. We may give intellectual assent and go along with His principles and do fine; however, if we are fully given over to Him and His will for our life, it will be a life that will have adversity. The Bible is clear that humans do not achieve greatness without having their sinful will broken. This process is designed to create a nature change in each of us, not just a habit change. The Bible calls it circumcision. Circumcision is painful, bloody, and personal.

If God has plans to greatly use you in the lives of others, you can expect your trials to be even greater than those of others. Why? Because, like Joseph who went through greater trials than most patriarchs, your calling may have such responsibility that God cannot afford to entrust it to you without ensuring your complete faithfulness to the call. He has much invested in you on behalf of others. He may want to speak through your life to a greater degree than through another. The events of your life would become the frame for the message He wants to speak through you.

Do not fear the path that God may lead you on. Embrace it. For God may bring you down a path in your life to ensure the reward of your inheritance. "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all" (2 Cor. 4:17)
